Saying no isn’t selfish; it’s a way to set boundaries and prioritize your well-being. It allows you to make space for the things you truly care about, like spending time with loved ones, enjoying holiday traditions, or simply resting.
How to Say No with Kindness
Be Honest but Polite: “I’d love to, but I’m already committed to something else.” A simple, genuine response works wonders.
Offer an Alternative: “I can’t make it to dinner, but how about a coffee date next week?”
